The calculator searches all packages across 42 UAE free zones to find the cheapest option matching your requirements. Select your visa count, preferred emirate, business type, and features — results update instantly. Each result shows the specific package, Year 1 total, renewal costs, and a full cost breakdown.
Are these actual free zone prices?
Yes. All pricing data comes from official free zone fee schedules, verified as of February 2026. Prices shown are the published rates — actual costs through setup agents may be 10-30% lower for some zones (particularly IFZA and Meydan). Each zone profile shows a "Last verified" date.
What is included in the Year 1 cost?
The Year 1 total includes: trade license fee, office/flexi desk cost (if applicable), establishment card, visa processing fees (government fees, medical, Emirates ID) for the number of visas in the package, and mandatory health insurance per visa holder. It does not include optional add-ons like additional business activities, PRO services, or bank account opening assistance.
Why do some zones show "Contact zone for renewal pricing"?
A few zones bundle renewal costs differently or calculate them based on the specific license configuration. When we cannot confirm the exact renewal figure, we show "Contact zone" rather than display potentially inaccurate data.
Can I set up a business without any visas?
Yes. Many free zones offer zero-visa packages starting from under AED 6,000/year. These give you a UAE trade license and registered business address without residency visas. This is popular for remote entrepreneurs, holding companies, and businesses that do not need UAE residency.
What does "easy banking" mean in the filters?
The "Easy banking" filter shows only free zones where opening a corporate bank account is straightforward. Zones rated "Easy" (like DMCC, DIFC, and JAFZA) have strong banking partnerships and high acceptance rates. Zones rated "Moderate" or "Difficult" may require more documentation or multiple bank applications.
